Fall is one of the most meaningful times of the year to photograph families—and one of my absolute favorites as a motherhood and family photographer here in Charlotte.
There’s something special about the crisp air, the way golden light filters through the trees, and with business of life with back to school and kids fall activities these sessions are that perfect moment to slow just enough for you to hold your people close. My fall sessions are designed to give families space to do just that and to simply be together while I document the story unfolding in front of me.
Intentional…Not Posed
If you’re like most of the families I work with, you’re not looking for stiff poses or overly styled setups. You want to remember the way your toddler’s curls caught the sunlight. The way your oldest wrapped their arms around you mid-laugh. The way this season of motherhood feels.

Location
All sessions take place outdoors in the Charlotte area, with access to a curated list of hand-picked locations. Looking for dreamy fields, tucked-away trails, or vibrant autumn trees? We’ll find a spot that reflects your family’s vibe!
Timing
It’s all about golden hour when the light is warmest and most flattering. Trust me, it’s worth planning dinner a little early!
The Experience
My sessions are relaxed and guided, and family paced. I’ll prompt you in a way that encourages play, connection, and natural movement. Just come as you are, enjoy some music and each other while I capture the moments.
